Had this problem in season 6 on xbox, removing fortnite and all files for it and then reinstalling didn’t fix it. but i then solved it by going to xbox settings > system > storage > clear local saved games. the console restarted and now have full sound in fortnite.. I'm new to fortnite, hello fellow fortnite players i have experienced no sound around the 3rd week i've played it. i'm on xbox i use plug in headphones into my controller. there's sound in the lobby but no sound in the game is there a way to fix this?. Hi, resentley fortnite decided to be quite, i have no sound what so ever, the game doesn't even show up in the volume mixer at all, that is so suspicious since it use to be working perfectly. i tried everything, (changing the fps, sound quality... Right click on you volume on your windows toolbar, select open volume mixer. from there you can see all the devices that you can select for your sound output, and what programs are currently using what. so run fortnite, and see which device it's playing the sound on. you cannot change the device once the game is loaded..
